I have been a huge Perfect Dark fan since the original, so call me biased if you like and this maybe old news but Perfect Dark Zero is without a doubt criminally underrated, which is down to the fact that some much loved features from the first one have been cut out but this is down to time restraints placed on by Microsoft and because Rare had to tweak the game to allow for 32-player online support, which I am sure is no easy task, especially if pressured to release a game at launch.
Another reason why the game is underrated is simply because the game has been released on a Microsoft console during Halo era, whereby... many gamers are unconsciously expecting clones of that game, well Perfect Dark is not Halo, nor was it intended to be. Sure Rare may have used vehicles and a maximum weapon threshold but let's not forget that Halo copied the original Perfect Dark and Goldeneye with dual-wielding.
PDZ is very much in it's own league following on from Perfect Dark and Goldeneye before it. The gameplay may seem a little old-fashioned but there is nothing more rewarding than finally completing that last objective on Dark agent. PDZ is worth a look by all even though the game is getting on a bit now.

I don't think this game is a classic because of it's awful story mode, plays alright in multi though.
