Back in August Nokia announced the return of the handheld video game medium N-Gage, however the old-fashioned brick style design of the original is to be shunned in favor of an application built into modern Nokia mobile phones and will take the form of software downloads, rather than the ugly cartridges, thus it could be said that the platform is not really a console in itself now but more like an additional service. Many will see this as a sensible decision with the likes of the PSP and Nintendo DS to compete against. The new...service was supposed to be released this November, however it has now been delayed until December because of software testing issues. The launch games are rumored to be The Sims 2: Pets, Fifa 2008, Crash Bandicoot and good old Tetris.
